Welcoming the delegation from Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University (Thailand)

On December 14, 2018, Professor Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) and Associate Professor Tran Thi Minh Hoa (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) welcomed a delegation from Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University (Thailand) led by Ms. Linda Gainma (Rector).

During the meeting, Professor Pham Quang Minh expressed his gratitude to Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University for its enthusiastic cooperation with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities over the past period. The Rector hoped that in the coming years, the university would provide more support in promoting research and teaching of Thai studies, Vietnamese studies in particular, and Southeast Asian studies in general. The university also expressed its readiness to welcome students and lecturers from Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University. A good bilateral relationship will contribute to the overall development of the ASEAN Economic and Social Community.

In response, Ms. Linda Gainma highly appreciated the goodwill of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. She stated that Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University highly values ​​its relationships with partners in Asia and Southeast Asia. Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University is working towards forming a network among regional universities to jointly improve the quality of education and research. In the future, they will continue to send students for internships and exchanges with students from our university.

In addition, Ms. Linda Gainma invited Professor Pham Quang Minh and other Vietnamese officials to attend the 2nd International Conference on Management Science organized by Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University in July 2018.

On June 19, 2017, Professor Pham Quang Minh, on behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, signed a cooperation agreement with Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University (Thailand). Accordingly, both sides committed to promoting: the exchange of outstanding teachers and students to foster Vietnamese-Thai language training through short-term, 2+2, and 3+2 programs; the exchange of research information; the exchange of lecturers and staff; and the organization of cultural exchanges.
