This year's scientific conference received 39 scientific papers, including 13 from young researchers, 5 from postgraduate students, and 21 from doctoral candidates. The papers covered a diverse range of fields, from literature and sociology to psychology, philosophy, and international relations.

The conference was chaired by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector of the University) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Thu Ha (Faculty of Oriental Studies).
In his opening remarks, Professor Nguyen Van Kim emphasized that the conference was a very important event. It provided an opportunity for young staff members, graduate students, and doctoral candidates to share research results in their specialized and interdisciplinary fields, and to develop new perspectives and research methods. Furthermore, it was also a chance to share thoughts and feelings among colleagues on their journey of scientific exploration and discovery.

Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim delivered the opening remarks at the conference.
On the occasion of the conference, Professor Nguyen Van Kim also reviewed the achievements and results of scientific research that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has achieved in the past three years. In 2016, the University had 42 international publications, including 5 works in high-impact journals; in 2018, this number increased to 80, including 22 works in ISI and Scopus scientific journals. Notably, young lecturers and staff members are increasingly participating actively and enthusiastically in international publications.
Professor Nguyen Van Kim expressed strong confidence in the young faculty members, who possess the ability and tradition of international publications. The Vice Rector considered them a core force, contributing to spreading the values and scientific prestige of a leading academic center like the University, as well as promoting the richness and diversity of national academia in general.
