Visiting and giving gifts to wounded and sick soldiers on July 27

Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Quang Minh (far right), Principal of the School, presented gifts to representatives of the Center's leadership.

This is an annual activity of the School, joining the atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 69th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2016), to express the gratitude of the young generation to the previous generations who sacrificed their blood and youth for the revolutionary cause, for national independence.

Speaking at the visit and gift-giving ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh - Principal of the School, on behalf of all staff, lecturers and students, expressed his deep gratitude to the families of martyrs and wounded soldiers who sacrificed for the peace of the country. At the same time, he expressed the sympathy of the younger generations for the pain and loss from the war that still lingers in Uncle Ho's soldiers.

Comrade Pham Quang Minh also acknowledged the contributions of the center's staff, who have quietly continued to care for and nurse wounded soldiers. Thereby, the School suggested that it could send experts and staff from the School's Psychology and Social Work departments to train the center's staff in foreign knowledge to better serve the work of nursing wounded soldiers. In addition, the School could organize student volunteer groups to participate in activities to serve the spiritual life of wounded soldiers at the center.

Union officials took souvenir photos with representatives of wounded soldiers and management staff of Nho Quan War Invalids Nursing Center, Ninh Binh.

The delegation of the School's Trade Union also visited, talked and listened to the wounded soldiers being treated at the Center, encouraging the wounded soldiers to promote the willpower of Uncle Ho's soldiers to fight against the disease.

Director of Nho Quan War Invalids Nursing Center, Comrade Lam Quang Dao expressed his gratitude for the School's attention, and wished to receive help to improve the quality of service and care for wounded and sick soldiers.
