The content of the working sessions focused on further promoting existing Vietnamese language training cooperation programs for Chinese students, exchange of Vietnamese and Chinese students and graduate students, exchange of lecturers in cooperation research programs on the cultures of the two countries, coordination in organizing joint seminars and academic exchanges between universities... These are all cooperative activities that have had good results between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Chinese universities in recent times.

In particular, during the working session with the leaders of Guangxi University, the two sides proposed some notable cooperation contents in the coming time such as: extending the time for Vietnamese language students to study at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities from 1 semester to 2 semesters; participating in the Chinese Language Camp at the end of 2016; the University of Social Sciences and Humanities helping Guangxi University enroll students for the 0+5 bachelor's degree program; the University of Social Sciences and Humanities continuing to accept Chinese students and lecturers to study for postgraduate degrees; coordinating to organize Study tours to Asean Sudies; searching for and granting scholarships to students and trainees from both sides; inviting experts from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to participate in forums on Asean regional development; inviting Vietnamese scientists to participate in the Chinese and Asean Literature Conference at the end of 2016...
