Vice Rector Hoang Anh Tuan visits several universities in Guangxi and Guangzhou (China).

The working sessions focused on further promoting existing Vietnamese language training programs for Chinese students, student and postgraduate exchanges between Vietnam and China, faculty exchanges in collaborative research programs on the cultures of both countries, and coordinating joint seminars and academic exchanges between universities. These are all collaborative activities that have yielded positive results between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Chinese universities in the past.

In particular, during the working session with the leaders of Guangxi University, notable cooperation contents were proposed between the two sides in the near future, such as: extending the study period for Vietnamese language students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities from one semester to two semesters; participating in the Chinese Language Camp at the end of 2016; the University of Social Sciences and Humanities assisting Guangxi University in recruiting students for the 0+5 bachelor's degree program; the University of Social Sciences and Humanities continuing to accept Chinese students and lecturers for postgraduate studies; coordinating the organization of Study tours on ASEAN Sudies; seeking and granting scholarships for students and trainees from both sides; inviting experts from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to participate in forums on ASEAN regional development; inviting Vietnamese scientists to participate in the Chinese and ASEAN Literature Conference at the end of 2016…
