At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh introduced the internationalization strategy of the USSH, including strengthening relations with international partners. For Ireland, the USSH has established early relations with higher education institutions such as University College Cork (UCC) - National University of Ireland, Cork Institute of Technology (Ireland). Most recently, the School has worked with University College Cork to build a major in International Development Studies, aiming to upgrade it to an independent bachelor's program next year. The Rector hopes that the School can work with University College Dublin to implement similar programs. For reference, the Rector introduced some 2+2, 3+1 training cooperation models that the School has implemented with partners such as Stirling University, Nottingham University (UK), Zurich University (Switzerland), Toulouse II University (France).
In response, Dr. Richard Collins highly appreciated the goodwill of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. He said that the Institute of Social Sciences and Law offers training in many fields close to the University such as political science, economics, sociology, archaeology at the undergraduate level; public policy, social work, education, geopolitics at the postgraduate level. In the immediate future, the Vietnamese side will explore the possibility of joint training in the field of International Development and have further discussions with the University as soon as possible.

UCD offers 70 undergraduate programs and more than 350 postgraduate programs in a wide range of majors. UCD consists of 6 affiliated schools: School of Social Sciences and Law, School of Arts and Humanities, School of Business, School of Engineering and Architecture, School of Health and Agricultural Sciences, School of Science.
