During the meeting, Professor Pham Quang Minh briefly introduced the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, a leading institution for social sciences and humanities education in Vietnam. The Rector emphasized the internationalization strategy the University is implementing, including strengthening relations with international partners. Regarding Greifswald University, the University hopes to continue welcoming visiting lecturers under the European Union's Erasmus+ Faculty Exchange Program.
In response, Dr. Hasmik Hunayan, on behalf of Greifswald University, thanked the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for its warm welcome. She stated that, in addition to sending visiting lecturers, Greifswald University is ready to accept and partially fund Vietnamese students to study and conduct research in Germany. She also extended an invitation to Professor Pham Quang Minh and other faculty members to visit the Greifswald University campus this summer.

Professor Pham Quang Minh happily accepted the invitation from Dr. Hasmik Hunayan. The Rector also invited staff from Greifswald University to participate in two events co-organized by the University in 2019: a seminar on regional security in the Baltic Sea and the East Sea of Vietnam in April, and a reunion of DADD program alumni in Vietnam in November. These two events also included the participation of several scholars and researchers from Greifswald University. Furthermore, the University is open to welcoming students from Greifswald University to study, conduct research, participate in summer courses, and join student extracurricular clubs.

Greifswald University was founded in 1456 and is one of the oldest educational institutions in Europe. Its priority research areas include life sciences, physics, law, economics, and more. Greifswald University has nearly 11,000 students and five faculties: the Faculty of Theology, the Faculty of Law and Economics, the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Philosophy, and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
