On August 6, Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa - Vice Principal - and representatives of the Faculty of Tourism Studies received a delegation of staff and students from the Faculty of Tourism Studies, Rikkyo University (Japan) led by Professor Hiroyoshi Sano. The two sides exchanged information on a number of scientific and training activities, shared experiences and sought cooperation opportunities.
On August 6, Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa - Vice Principal - and representatives of the Faculty of Tourism Studies received a delegation of staff and students from the Faculty of Tourism Studies, Rikkyo University (Japan) led by Professor Hiroyoshi Sano. The two sides exchanged information on a number of scientific and training activities, shared experiences and sought cooperation opportunities.Prof. Hiroyoshi Sano said that Rikkyo University is a large private university in Tokyo, founded in 1946, currently has 13,000 students. The school trains many majors: Tourism, Philosophy, Political Science, Law, Sociology, Natural Sciences... Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa also provided some information about the Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities: it is the leading training institution in Vietnam for Tourism Studies, the only address in Hanoi to train masters in Tourism Studies. The Faculty of Tourism Studies has been implementing a dual degree program in Tourism Studies - English, a 2+2 training program with universities in China, Korea, and Thailand. Evaluating the cooperative relationship with Rikkyo University, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa said that the two sides have had many good cooperative activities but they are not deep enough to match the potential of the two strong training units in Tourism in Vietnam and Japan. In the future, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities hopes to develop more cooperative activities with the Faculty of Tourism of Rikkyo University such as: promoting the exchange of lecturers and students, developing joint training programs between the two sides...
