The workshop organizing committee selected 8 reports for presentation. These reports were all of great interest to the delegates and sparked lively discussions. The workshop was conducted seriously and productively with two sessions. Eight reports were presented at the conference, including: Some characteristics of Vietnamese tones in the Vietnamese community in Australia (applications for language teaching) – MSc. Dao Muc Dich; The worship of the Whale God in Ly Son – Quang Ngai (case study in Lan Dong Hai – An Hai commune – Ly Son district) – MSc. The reports delve into interdisciplinary fields of Vietnamese studies such as literature, art, linguistics, cultural studies, language teaching, etc., with the aim of enhancing the capacity for teaching and research in Vietnamese studies in the context of current integration. Most authors sought new approaches to their research, for example, the anthropological approach in the report on Hoi An ancient town, and the application of technology in teaching in the report by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thien Nam… Speaking at the conference, Prof. Dr. Hoang Trong Phien recalled the development of Vietnamese studies and the Vietnamese language, while highly appreciating the quality of the reports and emphasizing the increasing demand for professionalism in teaching Vietnamese as a foreign language. Prof. Dr. Dinh Van Duc also affirmed: This year's reports are highly applicable and have fully addressed the most specific and necessary issues in teaching Vietnamese studies. It can be said that this is also a success in opening up new approaches in the research and teaching of Vietnamese studies.

Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh (Vice Rector of the university), despite his busy schedule in Hanoi, came to encourage the delegates attending the conference. On the sidelines of the conference, amidst the picturesque natural scenery and fresh air of Dai Lai Lake, faculty and staff from both departments had the opportunity to meet, interact, and exchange experiences in research and teaching Vietnamese studies and the Vietnamese language, highlighting the unique characteristics of each region. The two-day conference left a profound impression, providing valuable experiences and lessons for the participants; and contributing to improving their abilities and skills in teaching Vietnamese studies and the Vietnamese language for the future.
