During the meeting, Professor Pham Quang Minh briefly introduced the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, emphasizing the university's internationalization strategy and expansion of international relations. The university has established cooperative relationships with over 400 foreign partners; however, the number of Hungarian partners, such as Corvinus University Budapest and Budapest University of Business and Communication, remains relatively small. Therefore, the university hopes to expand its relationships with more Hungarian partners, such as the Antall József Knowledge Center.

Professor Pham Quang Minh presents a commemorative gift to Mr. Peter Antall.
For his part, Mr. Péter Antall shared some information about the Antall József Knowledge Center. Founded in 2009 and named after former Hungarian Prime Minister Antall József, the Center's mission is to disseminate knowledge in Hungary, Europe, and the world through organizing academic events, publishing academic publications, and nurturing talent. The Center's publications focus primarily on international relations, with three major themes: foreign policy, sustainable development, and talent development. The Center highly values its relationships with educational institutions worldwide, including universities in Southeast Asia. Therefore, it hopes to collaborate with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to fulfill its mission in Vietnam.

Professor Pham Quang Minh highly appreciated the goals of the Antall József Knowledge Center and stated that these are also the goals that the University aims for. From an academic perspective, the University is also interested in topics related to international relations. The Rector proposed that the two sides co-organize international conferences on topics such as comparing the socio-economic transformation processes between Vietnam and Hungary, comparing the international integration processes of the two countries, and the role of major powers in the region. These conferences will provide a comparative perspective between the two countries in particular, as well as between Southeast Asia and other regions of the world. This is even more significant as Vietnam and Hungary celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations next year.
