Meeting and working with the Chairman of the Sejong Foundation (South Korea)

Also attending the reception were Dr. Le Thi Thu Giang (Director of Sejong Korean Language Center Hanoi) and all the lecturers of the Department of Korean Studies.
 

Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, on behalf of the University's Board of Directors, expressed his sincere gratitude for the attention and favor shown by the Chairperson and the leadership of the Sejong Foundation to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, as well as the Sejong Korean Language Center in Hanoi, which is affiliated with the University. Immediately after assuming the position of Chairperson, Lee Haiyoung made Hanoi, and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, her first stop on her working trip. Over the past period, with the support and facilitation of the Sejong Foundation's leadership, the Sejong Korean Language Center in Hanoi has implemented many effective activities in Korean language training, organizing cultural exchange activities, supporting students in receiving scholarships, or participating in academic exchange programs. The university's leadership is committed to providing full support and hopes to continue receiving the Chairperson's attention to further promote the Center's development in the future.
Ms. Lee Haiyoung (Chairwoman of the Sejong Foundation) congratulated the school on its achievements over the past period and highly appreciated the contributions of the Sejong Korean Language Center Hanoi to the development of Korean language training in Vietnam, as well as strengthening the friendly relations between Vietnam and Korea. The Chairwoman also expressed her hope that, with the school's strengths in training and scientific research, the Sejong Korean Language Center Hanoi will develop in a direction that focuses on specialized activities: research, academic exchange, organizing seminars, publishing textbooks, etc.
The delegates engaged in lively discussions about activities that the Sejong Foundation and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities could promote through cooperation in the future, via the Sejong Korean Language Center in Hanoi.

At the end of the meeting, both sides exchanged gifts and took commemorative photos.
