
Speaking at the reception, Rector Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his deep gratitude for the attention and favor of the Chinese Embassy as well as the Counselor himself for the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Rector Hoang Anh Tuan affirmed: The University currently has bilateral cooperation relationships with about 300 universities and educational organizations in the world, in which universities in China are always strategic partners, with regular and very effective exchange activities. In recent years, through the connection and support of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, many students and lecturers of the University have received many scholarships to exchange, study and improve their qualifications. In addition, every year (before the Covid epidemic), the University of Social Sciences and Humanities also received hundreds of Chinese students, trainees and postgraduates to study and conduct scientific research. Principal Hoang Anh Tuan hopes that in the coming time, the Embassy will support the school in accessing and consulting Chinese documents on education policies, high-quality human resource training strategies, application of science and technology, and digital transformation in education.
Representatives of departments, divisions, and faculties attending the meeting also proposed specific cooperation contents: The Embassy supports the collection, translation, and publication of Chinese documents and textbooks for the School to use as teaching materials; connects and introduces researchers, experts, and lecturers of the School to publish articles and research works in prestigious Chinese journals; awards scholarships to students, youth, and young researchers of the School; sponsors student competitions, etc.
Speaking at the meeting, Education Counselor Trinh Dai Vi shared: this is the first time he has taken office in Vietnam and right after arriving in Hanoi, he chose to visit the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and really wanted to listen to the exchange of ideas from the school to promote educational cooperation between the school and universities in China. Mr. Trinh Dai Vi said: international cooperation in education is one of the key contents that the Chinese Government is particularly interested in. Therefore, the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam is always ready to connect so that universities in Vietnam can sign cooperation agreements, exchange students, lecturers, and academic exchanges with leading universities and educational institutions in China. The Counselor really hopes to be able to organize a club, an organization of international students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities who have studied and are studying in China, as well as Chinese international students studying at the school to be able to exchange and connect with each other. Regarding the proposal of Principal Hoang Anh Tuan as well as representatives of departments, Education Counselor Trinh Dai Vi happily accepted and will, together with his colleagues, collect documents and send them back to the University for reference as soon as possible; connect so that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities can meet and exchange cooperation with the network of leading universities in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities in China.

Cultural Counselor Trinh Dai Vi (Chinese Embassy in Vietnam) and Principal Hoang Anh Tuan had a very open and friendly exchange about the wide cooperation opportunities between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Chinese schools and educational organizations.
At the end of the meeting, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized the contents discussed and agreed upon and some activities that need to be implemented immediately in early 2023 and hoped that the Chinese Embassy, and personally Cultural Counselor Trinh Dai Vi and First Secretary Vuong Dinh Quan, would give more support and attention to the School. The two sides exchanged souvenirs and took souvenir photos.
