During the meeting, Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh introduced the main achievements in training, scientific research, and the main research directions of the University; emphasizing the goal of building a research university, strengthening research projects, especially international publications. As a leading training and research center in the Vietnamese higher education community, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has established cooperative relationships with universities in the United States. The Rector proposed expanding cooperation between the University and California State University in areas such as joint research projects and faculty and student exchanges.

Dr. Angie Ngoc Tran stated that California State University, Monterey Bay wishes to promote cooperation with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. She proposed several collaborative activities, such as joint undergraduate and postgraduate training programs in fields like social work, psychology, Japanese studies, global studies, etc. To contribute to realizing these goals, Dr. Angie Ngoc Tran suggested signing a memorandum of cooperation between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and member universities of California State University, Monterey Bay in the future.
