At the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan briefly introduced the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The University currently has 16 Faculties, training nearly 100 majors, including 31 Master's majors and 28 Doctoral majors. In addition, the University also organizes short-term training in fields such as Social Work and Media Management. The Vice President hopes that the two sides will soon carry out cooperation activities in areas of common interest.
On behalf of Ha Long University, Mr. Tran Trung Vi expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome of Vice President Hoang Anh Tuan and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. He proposed that the two sides cooperate to organize undergraduate training courses on Journalism, Cultural Management, Social Work, School Equipment Management; master's training courses on Cultural Management, Religious Management, Office Administration; and other short-term training courses. Ha Long University also wishes to conduct joint research projects with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in areas such as Heritage Management, Archaeology; especially in Quang Ninh province. Ha Long University is ready to connect and communicate with agencies, unions, and organizations in Quang Ninh province to support cooperation activities between the two sides.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan agreed with the proposals of Mr. Tran Trung Vi. The Vice President pledged to promptly direct and coordinate units to plan and implement the above cooperation ideas. The Training Department will be the main contact point of the University.

Ha Long University was established on October 13, 2014 on the basis of merging Quang Ninh Pedagogical College and Ha Long College of Culture, Arts and Tourism. Ha Long University currently has over 5,000 students, including 3,300 full-time students. Ha Long University provides multidisciplinary and multi-field training, providing highly qualified human resources in science, technology, economics, education and social sciences; is a center for scientific research and technology transfer to serve the socio-economic development of Quang Ninh province and the Northern Delta region.
