During the meeting, Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan affirmed that promoting international cooperation and exchange is considered a key task and foundation for the University's development in the coming time. To date, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has signed 220 official cooperation agreements with international partners and annually sends more than 100 staff and students abroad for research, teaching, and study. In particular, the University has collaborated with many renowned universities in South Korea such as Seoul National University, Pusan University, and the Korea Foundation to develop Korean Studies and many other collaborative research and training programs.

Dr. Jun Hyun Hong Song stated that Chung-Ang University wishes to promote cooperation with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in areas such as student and faculty exchange. Both sides will also seek various funding sources and scholarships to support students and faculty. These collaborative activities will be based on the formal cooperation agreement signed by both sides on June 19, 2013.
Chung-Ang University, founded in 1918, initially started as a kindergarten within a Catholic monastery and became a girls' school training kindergarten teachers in 1922. In 1953, it officially became Chung-Ang University and has continuously developed its quality and reputation in higher education for over 50 years. From its founding until 2018, the university will celebrate its 100th anniversary. The university has 982 departments, a student body of 30,000, and offers a wide range of disciplines, from social sciences and humanities to natural sciences, engineering, arts, and medicine.
