Offering incense at the beginning of the Year of the Rabbit (2013) at the Temple of Literature - National University.

At the Temple of Literature - National University, Rector Hoang Anh Tuan, on behalf of the faculty, staff, and students of the university, respectfully read the eulogy offered to the revered ancestors and sages. The eulogy expressed gratitude to the virtuous ancestors who contributed to the founding of higher education, the establishment of the Temple of Literature - National University, and the preservation of the tradition of respecting teachers; it also showed reverence for Chu Van An, revered by the people as "The Teacher of All Generations," who played a significant role in promoting education for future generations. Before the sacred spirits of our ancestors, all faculty, staff, and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities express their determination to cultivate virtue and talent, contributing to the development of a strong national education system, continuing the educational and cultural heritage that our forefathers painstakingly nurtured, and proving themselves worthy descendants of the former Imperial Academy.
Offering incense at the Temple of Literature – National University every spring is a beautiful tradition of the faculty and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for many decades. This activity expresses reverence and gratitude towards the sages who contributed to the development of Vietnamese education, and is a very meaningful occasion to educate the younger generation about the tradition of remembering one's roots and respecting teachers; it also reflects the wishes and determination of the faculty and students of the University for a new year with many achievements in all fields. From 2023, the incense offering ceremony at the Temple of Literature – National University will be held on the first Saturday morning after the Lunar New Year holiday to facilitate the participation of the University's faculty and students.
