Offering incense at the beginning of spring of Quy Mao year at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam

At the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan, on behalf of the staff, lecturers and students of the school, respectfully read the congratulatory speech to the Saints and Sages. The congratulatory speech expressed gratitude to the sages and predecessors who had contributed to opening the university, building the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, opening and preserving the tradition of respecting teachers; showing respect to the Vice-Chancellor Chu Van An, who was honored by the people as "Van the su bieu" (Teacher of all generations), who had contributed to the education of future generations. Before the souls of the ancestors, all staff, lecturers and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities expressed their determination to cultivate virtue, train talents, and contribute to building a strong national education system, continuing the source of education and culture that our ancestors have worked hard to cultivate, worthy of being descendants of the ancient Truong Giam.
Offering incense at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam every spring has been a fine traditional activity of teachers and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for many decades. This activity shows respect and gratitude to the sages who have contributed to the establishment of Vietnamese education, and is a very meaningful occasion to educate the young generation about the tradition of remembering one's roots when drinking water and respecting teachers; at the same time, it also shows the wishes and determination of the staff, teachers and students of the University for a new year with many achievements in all fields. From 2023, the Incense Offering Ceremony at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam will be held on the first Saturday morning after the Lunar New Year holiday so that the staff and students of the University can attend conveniently.
