At the conference, delegates listened to the Report on the implementation of work in February 2022 and the key tasks for March 2022. In February (also January after Tet), the COVID-19 epidemic situation was complicated, significantly affecting the health of the school's staff, lecturers and students. However, right after the Tet holidays, all staff and lecturers of the school immediately started to implement and completed a large amount of work in all areas of operation.

Accordingly, in February, the School has implemented many activities in 4 key areas of Party work, organizations and unions; training, student affairs, quality assurance; scientific research, cooperation and development; administration, facilities, finance and IT.
Some typical activities include: Developing a plan to implement Project 395-DA/DU of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of VNU on strengthening and enhancing leadership capacity, creating an organization to carry out the tasks of the Party Committee of the University; strengthening epidemic prevention work, preparing conditions for lecturers and students to return to school in person, as well as ensuring IT infrastructure for online teaching and learning, organizing health check-ups for students when returning to in-person learning, supporting accommodation for students with COVID-19; opening training classes for staff and specialists in the University; preparing for university and graduate admissions in 2022; reviewing the system of facilities and equipment serving teaching and learning in both online and in-person forms, etc.
Regarding scientific research, cooperation and development: Vice President - Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dao Thanh Truong - emphasized that the key tasks in March as well as in 2022 are to actively innovate in scientific research activities; strengthen the connection between training units with businesses and localities to both increase financial resources for scientific research and improve the feasibility and effectiveness of research. In addition, increase support for international publications of lecturers and students of the School.

Regarding undergraduate and postgraduate admissions: Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong - Vice Principal of the School - emphasized the changes in VNU's admission regulations on postgraduate admission forms; some notes on university admissions for 7 training majors with tuition fees based on the economic and technical standards according to Decree 81. Therefore, in order for the 2022 admissions to be effective, of high quality, and to achieve the set targets, the departments, faculties, and affiliated departments need to develop admission plans and knowledge training that are appropriate and adaptable to the current new situation.

Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan also emphasized: the breakthrough to successfully complete the above tasks is to innovate university administration. This work needs to be carried out thoroughly and effectively in all stages and specific areas of work. In which, focusing on some major contents: reviewing and proposing adjustments to the way of organizing and managing administrative activities, staff arrangement in a professional, integrated and effective direction; reviewing the organization and management of training at university levels, merging majors that are too narrow, too specialized and difficult to recruit; promoting the philosophy of human resource mobility, enhancing professional training; adjusting and enhancing student support in the most effective and practical way, etc.
