2023: Implement KPI in all areas of the School's work

That is the key content emphasized by Rector Hoang Anh Tuan in his conclusion at the Conference of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) held on February 6, 2023. Attending the Conference were Vice Rectors, Secretaries of Party Cells, Heads, Deputy Heads in charge of training and quality assurance of units under the University and leaders of mass organizations.

Conference Overview
Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized some of the results of activities in the first month of 2023: although January had a long New Year and Lunar New Year holidays, all aspects of the School's activities were still ensured according to plan with a spirit of urgency and efficiency. All officers and employees of the School had a safe and cozy Tet holiday and ensured compliance with State regulations.

Vice Principal Dang Thi Thu Huong shared and emphasized a number of activities that need to be completed in February and the first quarter of 2023 regarding training and quality assessment.

After listening to the opinions of the Vice Principals; exchanging and discussing with the units and functional departments, the Principal concluded the February activity plan, and emphasized some key work areas for 2023:
* Organization and staff:
- Assign the TCCB Department to be the focal point for advising and proposing to the Board of Directors on the plan to build and establish the School Council in the direction of "absolutely ensuring the stability and development of the School" (expected at the end of the second quarter, beginning of the third quarter of 2023); review and evaluate the activities of the Training Institute model, advise and propose to the School Board of Directors to implement the upgrade in a number of other units.
- Continue to implement policies to attract highly qualified staff to work at the School; Organize political theory training courses for staff and civil servants to complete the conditions and standards of their job positions and management titles.
* Train:
- Assign the Training Department to be the focal point for implementing instructions and informing the School's staff and students about new points in training regulations.
- Actively promote communication about the School's majors and training programs; Continue to develop training programs according to technical and economic standards according to the set roadmap.
- Assign the Training Department to compile statistics and have an accurate Appendix on the number of students with standard output foreign language certificates out of the total number of students requiring certificates to report to the School Meeting next month; develop a plan to support students in studying, reviewing and taking exams; encourage students to participate in the foreign language certificate exam organized by the University of Foreign Languages ​​(VNU) for students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in the near future.
- Promote and speed up the progress of industry development and industry opening.
* Cooperation and Development:
- Promote and materialize international cooperation relationships, develop specific solutions to attract long-term/short-term students, achieve the assigned target of 1,050 international students to study at the School and 15 staff and lecturers to do internships abroad for 3-6 months.
- Strictly and strictly implement the State's regulations on entry and exit of international staff and students, while promoting cooperation with localities, businesses and domestic partners in a practical and effective manner.
* Other tasks: Implement according to the February 2023 work plan and the issued school year plan, focusing on deploying VNU-Office document management and operation software to units; review and rearrange to increase and optimize space and facilities; focus on ensuring the progress of program accreditation according to the set roadmap, building a culture of quality regularly and continuously;...
