At the meeting, Vice Director of VNU Hanoi Nguyen Hieu congratulated and acknowledged the contributions of the communication staff within VNU Hanoi. They have made a significant contribution to spreading the image and brand of VNU Hanoi and its member units to a wider community and society.

It is clear that communication serves as a bridge connecting VNU (Vietnam National University) with society, between units and individuals within VNU itself, and between the university and its students and trainees. The harmonious combination of developing internal strengths and timely, systematic, and creative communication helps to enhance VNU's image, making it more reputable and approachable to friends both domestically and internationally.
Vice Director Nguyen Hieu particularly emphasized the importance of communication activities in the digital age. This is one of the decisive factors in the success of what VNU is implementing: the historical milestone of VNU moving its headquarters to Hoa Lac, innovating teaching methods, building a smart, green, and digitized university, scholarship policies for students and researchers, recruitment programs, etc.
The Vice Director expressed confidence that, with their rich tradition and intellectual capacity, the communications staff will always maintain their passion, creativity, and responsibility for their profession, continuously improving their expertise and upholding the glorious 97-year tradition of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism. The Vice Director requested that the staff continue to hone their professional skills and strengthen the internal communications network to facilitate information sharing and support among units, helping VNU overcome difficulties and challenges, build upon achievements, and contribute even more to the development of VNU.

At the meeting, representatives from the communications departments of the University of Foreign Languages, the International School, the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Sciences, and the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training highly appreciated the vital importance of communication work within their respective units. The communications leaders also shared valuable and practical experiences in effective communication work over the past period.
Representatives from various units also expressed their desire for closer collaboration and connection among units in the future. They also suggested that VNU should have a long-term, common communication strategy to enable units to closely follow practical realities and jointly disseminate the message, policies, and mechanisms of the VNU brand to a wider community.

On this occasion, Vice Director of VNU Hanoi Nguyen Hieu presented Certificates of Commendation from the Director of VNU Hanoi to 09 units that made outstanding contributions to communication work, including: University of Foreign Languages, University of Economics, International School, Vietnam-Japan University, Faculty of Interdisciplinary Sciences, Center for National Defense and Security Education, Institute of Journalism and Communication Training, University of Education, and Center for Library and Digital Knowledge.
