April 2022 meeting: Innovating student work towards support and care

The conference listened to the report on the implementation of work in March 2022 and the work plan for April. Accordingly, in March, four major work areas: Party, organization and union work; training, quality assurance, youth; scientific research, cooperation and development and administrative work, facilities and finance achieved many results: The school's Veterans Congress for the 2022-2027 term was a great success, the school's Youth Union also organized and participated in many meaningful activities during Youth Month; promoted the first round of graduate admissions, announced the 2022 regular university admissions project; completed application procedures for undergraduate and master's students; signed cooperation documents with localities, educational institutions and enterprises on training and scientific research; Ensure facilities and equipment to ensure teaching and learning in both in-person and online forms; ensure Covid-19 prevention for staff, lecturers, and students;...

Representatives of faculties and affiliated units gave their opinions to effectively implement the key contents in April. Some opinions said that more time was needed for students to be able to prepare well for research; short-term courses should be organized to specifically guide graduate students and lecturers in the school on the techniques of publishing an international article;... Representatives of the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities also made proposals on the staff work as well as the training activities of the school. Based on the assigned work areas, teachers in the Board of Directors shared more information and answered some issues related to the recommendations of representatives of the units.

Concluding the Conference, Rector Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized a number of key contents that need to be implemented in April: speeding up the review and supplementing of planning for Party Committee positions and management leaders in units and affiliated centers; improving university administration, upgrading meeting rooms in a "multi-purpose" direction, optimizing space to increase administrative space and lecture halls for management and training activities, preparing well for the renovation of building E in the near future; proposing a plan to adjust the time of organizing student scientific conferences at all levels accordingly, implementing a number of specific solutions to increase international publications; promoting the signing of framework cooperation agreements with training institutions, press and media agencies, localities, and businesses (developing cooperation projects on awarding scholarships, supporting student startups, innovation, etc.); Prepare well for the preliminary assessment on April 8 and the official assessment at the end of April, propose improvement plans to ensure post-accreditation quality. Regarding enrollment, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan requested functional departments and faculties to coordinate closely to organize the first round of postgraduate entrance exams, enroll students in Specialized High Schools and promote university admission communication in 2022; complete the university admission plan according to technical and economic standards in 2022 for 08 accredited programs. Regarding student affairs, it is also necessary to focus on support, care, and career counseling for students.
