Ten students with outstanding academic achievements, including excellent students and underprivileged students with good academic results, received scholarships in this round. Each scholarship is worth 4 million VND.
The scholarship is an incentive, encouragement, and recognition of the continuous academic efforts of the students of the History Department. The students receiving this award feel both honored and proud, but also responsible for reminding themselves to continue striving harder and to use the scholarship effectively in their studies and historical research.
The Vietnam Historical Studies Development Fund is the first national fund established by the Vietnam Historical Science Association and the Vietnam National Petroleum Corporation. The Fund has received enthusiastic support from former President Nguyen Minh Triet and President Truong Tan Sang. Its guiding principle and purpose is to contribute to the training of historical talents for the country and to promote the development of national historiography. The Fund conducts annual activities such as: selecting and awarding prizes and scholarships, providing financial support for outstanding historical works, and organizing events related to history and culture.
