Attending the conference, in addition to faculty and students of the Faculty, were Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh (Vice Rector) from the University, along with representatives from the Training Departments, the Quality Assurance Center, and visiting lecturers of the Faculty.
The conference heard a summary report on the work of Vietnamese Studies undergraduate training over the past five years from representatives of the Faculty's leadership. This was followed by reports and contributions on the training program, the Faculty's outputs, teaching practices, scientific research, student internships, and the development of human resources in Vietnamese Studies training…
The conference featured lively discussions on all aspects related to the Faculty's training activities. In addition to affirming the achievements and results obtained over the past five years, and highlighting the fundamental strengths of the interdisciplinary training program, the conference also heard many insightful opinions on areas needing further improvement in the Vietnamese Studies training program, exploring the unique characteristics of Vietnamese Studies in specific subjects, enhancing the quality of student research, perfecting the learning materials system, and improving the quality of human resources within the Faculty, both currently and in the coming years.
Based on the achievements of the past years, the Faculty's main tasks for the coming years are:
- Continue to adjust, update, and refine the training program, and improve the quality of training.
- Accelerate the pace of lecture and curriculum development, and improve the learning materials system.
- Promote scientific research activities among faculty and students, and build a team of qualified faculty.
- Actively innovate teaching, testing, and evaluation methods.
- Strengthening extensive cooperation with partner organizations both domestically and internationally to promote Vietnamese Studies and the Faculty's outputs.
Five years is enough time for the Department of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language to look back on its initial steps, to see the advantages, difficulties, results, and limitations of the entire process, and from there to draw valuable lessons, confidently move forward, and achieve even better results in the future.
