University of Social Sciences and Humanities participates in planting trees at the Friendship Garden

The event was organized by the Russian Federation Cooperation Agency - Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi in coordination with the Russian Embassy and the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations. To recognize the glorious and glorious milestones in the traditional friendship and diplomatic cooperation between Vietnam and Russia; to honor and commemorate the contributions of soldiers of the two countries who fought and sacrificed for the cause of protecting the Fatherland, peace of the nation and the world. The event was attended by representatives of the Russian Embassy, ​​the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi, representatives of the Hanoi People's Committee, ministries, departments, branches, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations...

The event was held in 2020, the year of Vietnam in Russia and Russia in Vietnam, marking many important and meaningful events such as the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Russia diplomatic relations (1950-2020), the 75th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945), and the 45th anniversary of victory in the War to liberate South Vietnam and reunify the country (1957-1975).

By participating in this event, teachers and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU want to join hands to spread the message of friendship between Vietnam and Russia; at the same time, share and raise awareness about environmental protection, the role, effects and value of tree planting, disaster mitigation and climate change adaptation.
