Prof. Dr. People's Teacher Hoang Thi Chau was born in 1934, from Thua Thien Hue, former Head of the Department of Linguistics, Faculty of Philology, Hanoi National University (1983-1993); passed away at 2:32 a.m. on August 6, 2020 (June 17, Canh Ty year); at the age of 87.

The funeral will begin at 11:30 a.m. on August 8, 2020 at the National Funeral Home, 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi.

Funeral service and burial at 12:45 on the same day.

Cremation at the Universe Crematorium, Van Dien.
