Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan was born in 1976, received his PhD in History from Leiden University (Netherlands) in 2006; was appointed Associate Professor in 2012, Professor in 2019. He has held management positions: Deputy Head of the Department of History (2010-2016); Vice Principal (2016-2020); Vice Principal in charge of the School (September 2020 to present).
On the same day, the Director of VNU also signed Decision No. 799/QD-VNU appointing Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thanh Truong to hold the position of Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU.
Previously, on March 5, 2021, the President of VNU signed Decision No. 597/QD-VNU appointing Associate Professor, Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh - Deputy Director of Tran Nhan Tong Institute, to hold the position of Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU.
Thus, currently, the Board of Directors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has been completed, including Rector Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan and 3 Vice Rectors: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thanh Truong.
