School leaders engage in dialogue with students.

Dialogue between the school's leadership and students is an activity organized every academic year to create opportunities for students of all years and majors to express their thoughts, aspirations, and desires in their studies and training. The school's leaders listen to students' wishes and answer their questions, while also providing additional information about the school's policies, directions, and development. Furthermore, students' suggestions and initiatives can help lead to appropriate adjustments in management.

Many promises made by the school's leadership during the dialogue with students in the 2018-2019 academic year have been realized this year, such as: the school canteen has been upgraded and put into operation, ensuring that staff and students have a place to eat delicious, hygienic food at reasonable prices; and classrooms in building G have been completed and upgraded with new doors and air conditioning systems.

During the dialogue, students also received information from their teachers about recent changes at the university: the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities, affiliated with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, was recently established; training programs have been reformed to be more up-to-date and relevant to practical training, aiming for interdisciplinary approaches and enhanced international integration; and facilities are being gradually improved...

The dialogue between the school's leadership and students for the 2019-2020 academic year was held later than usual. Instead of at the end of December – the end of the first semester – the dialogue was held at the beginning of January, one week after students had started the second semester. This allowed students to present their aspirations regarding issues from the previous semester, as well as matters related to the new semester.

Several issues were raised and commented on by many students, such as: weak Wi-Fi network at the school, lack of meters in classrooms, insufficient facilities during the construction of the Specialized School for Social Sciences and Humanities, and excessive parking in the schoolyard affecting the students' shared living space…

Associate Professor Bui Thanh Nam - Head of the Training Department, provided information to students regarding the training process and schedule.

Associate Professor Tran Thi Minh Hoa, Vice Rector of the University, representing the university leadership, answered the students' questions. In the near future, each classroom will be equipped with an additional clock to meet the legitimate needs of students. The university will also work with the parking management unit to reduce noise and dust caused by motorbikes entering the campus. She also stated that the university is striving to improve and upgrade the Wi-Fi system to ensure stable and smooth operation, with appropriate user management and tiered access for faculty and students.

The school's leadership listened to and addressed more than 30 student requests.

Liên quan đến quy chế, lịch trình và các điều kiện học tập, PGS.TS Bùi Thành Nam - Trưởng phòng Đào tạo đã giải đáp thắc mắc cho các bạn sinh viên chưa nắm rõ quy định về: Sinh viên có thể đăng ký làm khóa luận khi tích lũy đủ 100 tín chỉ trở lên, quy định liên quan đến quy đổi điểm IELTS qua các môn ngoại ngữ khác tại Khoa Đông phương hiện đang trong quá trình hoàn thành, chứng chỉ tiếng Đức không được quy đổi sang các học phần ngoại ngữ… Phản hồi về tình trạng trong học kỳ vừa rồi, một số sinh viên Khoa Văn học bị ảnh hưởng do lịch học bù vào tuần 16 trùng với lịch thi, có sinh viên phải thi liên tục nhiều ca trong một ngày, thầy đề nghị khi nhận được lịch thi, cảm thấy lịch thi không phù hợp, sinh viên nên chủ động liên hệ với phòng Đào tạo để có hướng giải quyết sớm.

Điểm mới trong việc tích hợp chương trình học Quân sự với chương trình học Giáo dục thể chất cũng nhận được nhiều sự quan tâm từ các bạn sinh viên. Thay vì kỳ học Quân sự 28 ngày như các năm, tại một số trường trong ĐHQGHN đã thực hiện tích hợp kỳ học Quân sự với chương trình Giáo dục thể chất cho sinh viên năm nhất và thời gian đào tạo tại Hòa Lạc sẽ kéo dài thêm 2 tuần. Quy trình này sẽ được lãnh đạo Nhà trường cân nhắc và xem xét trong thời gian tới.

Hơn 30 câu hỏi trực tiếp đến từ các sinh viên tham dự đối thoại đã được lãnh đạo Nhà trường giải đáp, ghi nhận. Tại buổi đối thoại, GS.TS Phạm Quang Minh - Hiệu trưởng Nhà trường đã chia sẻ hướng đi của Trường trong việc tiến hành chuyển đổi chương trình học theo hướng liên ngành và hội nhập, tăng cường thời gian và hiệu quả của hoạt động thực tập, thực tế. Một số học phần trong chương trình đào tạo được đổi mới để đáp ứng nhu cầu học tập trong điều kiện mới của sinh viên. Hoạt động giảng dạy, đổi mới, sáng tạo của các thầy cô đang lan toả rộng khắp trong toàn trường. Thầy cũng khẳng định, với mục tiêu nâng cao chất lượng dạy và học, hoạt động Đối thoại giữa lãnh đạo Nhà trường và sinh viên sẽ luôn được chú trọng, đẩy mạnh. Nhà trường sẽ tiếp thu ý kiến của sinh viên và có những điều chỉnh trong hoạt động quản lý nhằm hướng tới mục tiêu xây dựng một môi trường học tập chất lượng cao, hiện đại, thân thiện và linh hoạt tối đa theo nhu cầu người học.
