USSH Student Union Secretariat Member: From a shy girl to a courageous Union officer who dares to think and act

Unions and Associations are the "door" to step out of your comfort zone.
Previously, I realized that I was a rather shy, timid person, without my own opinions and even afraid of crowds. Realizing those shortcomings of myself, right from the time I joined the Association as a Collaborator, I always tried to cultivate many necessary skills, expand my personal relationships to get out of my comfort zone, break through myself, and try my hand in many different fields that I had never known before. On the journey of self-discovery, I have tried many new jobs and then found my passion and enthusiasm for the Association and the student movement. The Association has helped me break through from a shy, timid girl to a girl who has witnessed, has courage, dares to speak, dares to do, dares to face challenges and difficulties in work as well as in life.

The journey of being attached to the Union - Association has great significance for me because this place has given me the opportunity to develop, discover many other abilities of myself, learn many things and have a certain role and position to express myself more. I cherish every moment of working side by side with the Student Association, especially the colleagues who are always by my side, accompanying me in all organized activities. Each event has left me with meaningful lessons, helping me to summarize a lot of experience in the working process.

Efforts to overcome difficulties and the desire to contribute of a Union official
When I first started my life as a university student and lived in a bustling city like Hanoi, I had a hard time adapting to life, lost my direction in studying and didn't know where to start while around me, from life to studying, there were many talented and excellent people. But my luck was that I chose the right place to develop, sticking with the Union's work and the student movement helped me meet and get to know friends, brothers and sisters who were understanding, shared with me my experiences and experiences so that I gradually found my direction and goals. Growing up and developing in the Union - Association environment is what makes me feel extremely lucky because here I discovered other abilities of myself and devoted myself to achieving achievements that marked my growth process at Nhan Van. “We young people can succeed, can fail, can be confident, can falter, but we must never give up.”

Ever since I became a Collaborator, because I was just a newbie to the Association, I was still very confused and encountered many difficulties in Union - Association knowledge such as organizing an event, communication, etc. Everything was very new because I had never been exposed to or had any previous experience. But perhaps because I was young, I was not afraid of making mistakes, not afraid to learn and absorb new knowledge from my seniors, so after the failures, what I received were extremely valuable lessons, those lessons gradually became experiences for me to be able to practice and develop myself as I am today.

Each position has its own difficulties and challenges. When I was a member of the Student Union Secretariat, the biggest difficulty I encountered was balancing between studying and Union activities. When I was in a new position, I needed to be more responsible for my own academic and training achievements. Especially when I held a position that required me to be responsible for and control the assigned tasks, it made me busy and difficult, but I always tried to maintain a stable academic performance so that I could pursue my passion for the organization I was attached to.

My enthusiasm and passion for the Association and student movement are getting stronger because when I joined the Union - Association, I was able to support and organize large and small programs for students such as: "5 Good Student Week - Twinkle week"; "Gala Take Off - Welcome New Students"; "My Class is Number 1"; ... Besides, I also participated in organizing volunteer programs far away as a Team Leader such as: "Warm Winter in the Village 2022"; "Green Summer USSH 2023",... Through that, I was able to contribute my youth and spread humanistic values ​​to the community.

In addition, I also had the opportunity to interact and meet with extremely talented and excellent brothers, sisters and friends. That is what motivates me to constantly strive, practice and devote myself to the work of the Youth Union - Association, organizing many good and meaningful programs for students.
Desire to contribute good values ​​to the community
As a young person, I am aware that I must constantly strive to study and practice. In addition, I am extremely eager to contribute my youth to volunteer work and meaningful activities for the community. As I have shared, the work of the Youth Union - Association has given me the opportunity to become a Team Leader in volunteer activities organized by the Youth Union - Student Association of the school such as: "Warm Winter in the Village 2022", "Green Summer USSH 2023", each land that our volunteer team sets foot on brings me beautiful memories. Above all, through different volunteer seasons, I appreciate more and more the values ​​that we spread to the community, bringing gifts that are not too big in terms of material but have shared the difficulties with the people there. I myself hope that during my term of office, I will contribute more values ​​to society, promote and spread good humane traditions to the community.

Talking about my plans for the future, I not only focus on activities but also make efforts in studying, participating in scientific research, trying to achieve more achievements in studying and researching during my 4 years at university. Besides, I realize that thanks to the wise leadership of the Party, our country has the peace and development it has today. Therefore, for me, being in the ranks of the Party is a very proud thing. Therefore, I will try harder to be worthy of being a Party member in the near future.
