University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

On the morning of September 24th, amidst the vibrant and emotional atmosphere of the Opening Day at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Clubs Day event, held on the campus of the Specialized School of Social Sciences and Humanities, provided over 2000 new students with the opportunity to get acquainted with the dynamic, creative, and enthusiastic environment of the Humanities students, a blend of tradition and modernity.

Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-Hanoi) announces the Master's Scholarship Program at Korea University, South Korea, for the Spring 2024 semester, funded by the Pony Chung Foundation (PCF), South Korea, as follows:

(Dan Tri Newspaper) 500 sets of traditional Vietnamese ao dai dresses were gifted by lecturers from Hanoi National University to new students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on their first day of enrollment, as a welcome gift for the new academic year.

According to the plan for implementing non-budgetary scholarships managed by Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) in the 2023-2024 academic year, VNU will attract 20 types of non-budgetary scholarships from domestic and foreign funds, financial institutions, and businesses, with a total value of over 5.2 billion Vietnamese Dong and over 157,000 US Dollars.

(SVVN) In 2019, Phuong Thanh was the top-scoring student in the D01 entrance exam at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH). After four years of hard work, Phuong Thanh graduated as valedictorian in Psychology with an excellent academic record of 3.69/4.0.

Through the production of paper from sugarcane leaves, a group of students from the Faculty of International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, aim to create valuable agricultural products, increase income for sugarcane farmers, and build a circular economy model in agriculture. This project won the top prize in a competition about the Mekong River, which included 20 teams from 6 countries.

These valuable scholarships were awarded to students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) at the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam on August 3, 2023.

(SVVN) Having been a top student at the provincial level in high school for many years, Vi Hoan was "shocked" when her first semester of university only yielded a 2.9/4.0 GPA. By motivating herself and seeking optimal study methods to improve her grades, the 22-year-old graduated as valedictorian of the Management Science program at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 2023.

On the morning of July 19, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, organized an International Scientific Conference on the theme "Entrepreneurship for Impact" within the framework of the 2023 ClimateLaunchpad Vietnam (CLP) Green Business Startup Competition.

(SVVN) Tung Chi is a student in the first specialized Geography class at the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities. With outstanding academic achievements and projects bearing her personal mark, Tung Chi has successfully won a scholarship from an international university and has been accepted into two other public universities.

(SVVN) Nguyen Thi Hai is currently a final-year student at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. She previously served as the Head of the Faculty's Student Union, the Deputy Secretary of the Faculty's Youth Union, and the Head of her class's Student Association. During her four years of university, Hai won two consecutive first prizes and two second prizes at the university-level student scientific research competition.

With a passion for writing since childhood, Ms. Phan Thanh Thuy pursued journalism from her secondary school years. After studying at the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, she became a journalist working at the Vietnam Education e-magazine, and also a visiting lecturer at her former faculty (now the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training), bringing her knowledge, enthusiasm, and experience to generations of students.

(SVVN) - With a score of 9.8/10, Phuong Anh achieved the highest score for her graduation thesis at the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) in the first round of 2023. Her thesis topic stemmed from her deep love for her homeland, Vietnam, and its decent education system and diverse cultural identity, which she has experienced and continues to experience.

(SVVN Newspaper) Hoang Quynh is currently a third-year student majoring in Office Management, Department of Archival Studies and Office Management, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. This young man has made a strong impression on his teachers and friends with his outstanding achievements in both academics and extracurricular activities.

SVVN - From the moment she entered university, Le Nguyen Cam Ly actively participated in various activities and movements. Currently, Cam Ly holds several important positions in the Youth Union and Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU_USSH).
