18 distinguished employees of Samsung Electronics Bac Ninh graduated from the 18th short-course on Korean language

On June 17th, 18 students were given degrees at the graduation ceremony of the 18th short-course on Korean language for distinguished employees of Samsung Electronics Bac Ninh.

This course was a common project between Samsung Electronics Vietnam and the Division of Korean Studies of USSH's Faculty of Oriental Studies.

Participating in the ceremony were Assoc.Prof.Dr Pham Quang Minh (Vice Rector), Mr. Cho Ho-seok (Vice Director of Samsung Electronics Vietnam) and Mr. Kim Jin Woo (Head of the Personnel Office of Samsung Electronics Vietnam).

Speaking at the ceremony,  Assoc.Prof.Dr Pham Quang Minh expressed his gratefulness to all the students that had graduated: “I am happy when 18 students of this first course have made high scores in the final exam. This is encouraging because it shows the efforts of students and lecturers efficiently pay off. I highly appreciate the cooperation between the company and the Faculty of Oriental Studies of our University. I also hope that more opportunities for bilateral cooperation will be opened up”.

Assoc.Prof.Dr Pham Quang Minh delivered his remarks 

Responding to the Vice Rector, Mr. Cho Ho-Seok expressed his gratitude to the University and the lecturers, who had been always helpful and considerate towards the students: “On the first day, I still saw many timid and nervous faces but today my employees are showing confidence. I would like to send my deepest thanks to the Vice Rector and teachers for having done their best to provide our employees with adequate learning conditions and knowledge”.

The short-course on Korean language for distinguished employees of Samsung Electronics Bac Ninh was first opened on March 16th 2015 and lasted for 12 weeks. It was taught by both native and Vietnamese teachers.
