11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

From a theoretical perspective, the dissertation has reviewed domestic and international research to provide a concept and related theory on technological capability and policies for developing technological capability in industrial enterprises; it proposes criteria for measuring technological capability and a policy analysis framework based on the technological capability of enterprises in Vietnam.

From a practical perspective, the thesis analyzed and evaluated the current state of technological capabilities and policies for developing technological capabilities in industrial enterprises in Vietnam. Based on this, the thesis proposed solutions to improve policies for developing technological capabilities in Vietnamese industry in the future.

12. Practical applications:

This study provides managers and science and technology policymakers with analyses and assessments of the current state of technological capacity and policies for developing technological capacity over the past period. At the same time, this study supplements and clarifies scientific arguments to contribute to research on policies for developing technological capacity in Vietnam's industry.

13. Future research directions:

This study could be the first step towards further research on the system of indicators for measuring technological capacity; research analyzing the impact of science and technology policies on the development of technological capacity in Vietnamese enterprises;…

In terms of theory, the thesis has reviewed international and domestic studies to provide relevant concepts and arguments on technological capability and policy of industrial technology development; propose criteria to measure technological capability and policy analysis framework on industrial technology capability in Vietnam.

In terms of practice, the thesis has analyzed and evaluated the present situation of industrial technological capability and policy of industrial technology development in Vietnam. On that basis, the thesis provides recommendations to improve the industrial technology development policy in Vietnam in the coming time.

12. Practical applicability:

This research provides analysis and evaluation on the status of industrial technology capability and its policies to managers and policy makers on science and technology. At the same time, this research has supplemented and clarified scientific arguments to contribute to the research on industrial technology development policies in Vietnam.
