10. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

This dissertation further clarifies fundamental theoretical issues regarding skills and life skills of students at police academies and schools. It clarifies the category of life skills for students and identifies the basic life skills groups of students at police academies and schools. The dissertation clarifies the content of these basic life skills and identifies factors influencing their development. It also proposes psychological measures to contribute to the formation and improvement of positive life skills for students at police academies and schools.

11. Practical applications:

The research findings of this thesis have revealed the current state of life skills among students at police academies and schools; and highlighted the influence of various factors on students' life skills. The thesis also proposes feasible measures to improve the life skills of students at these academies and schools. These results serve as valuable reference material for developing training content, fostering skills development, and evaluating life skills among students at police academies and schools, especially given the current lack of theoretical and practical resources on this topic in education and training at these institutions.

12. Future research directions:

Based on the theoretical and practical research results of the dissertation, the author will focus on the following research directions: measures to educate and cultivate life skills for students of police academies and schools; professional skills of individuals in various fields of activity within the People's Police Force; and situational handling skills of lecturers in police schools.

The thesis further clarifies the basic theoretical issues on skills and life skills of the students at Public Security Academies and Colleges. It elucidates the categories of life skills and identifies the basic life-skill groups of the students. The thesis also identifies the factors that affect the life skills of the students and proposes the psychological measures to form and improve the active life skills for the students at Public Security Academies and Colleges.

11. Practical applicability:

The research results of the thesis have shown the real life-skill status of the students at Public Security Academies and Colleges and identified the factors that affect the students' life skills. The thesis also proposes the feasible measures which improve the life skills of the students at Public Security Academies and Colleges. These results are the good references contributing to the training and assessing the students' life skills in the current context that there is a lack of theoretical and practical materials related to this issue at Public Security Academies and Colleges.

12. Further research directions

Based on the theoretical and practical research results of the thesis, the next directions that the researcher will focus on include: the measures to educate and train the life skills for students at Public Security Academies and Colleges; the individuals' professional skills in different areas of Public Security Force; and the teachers' skills of controlling different situations at Public Security Academies and Colleges.
