- To gather, systematize, and provide complete and objective information about the 7 royal tombs of Tran Dynasty kings in Dong Trieu.
- Identify and clarify the location, name, and owner of the tombs.
- Clarify the floor plan structure of each tomb, indicating the process of existence and architectural changes of these tombs through different periods.
- Identify the outstanding features of the tombs in terms of floor plan structure, architecture, decorative art, and sculpture.
11. Practical applications.
- The results of research and reconstruction of architectural layouts, and comparative studies of different types of artifacts, contribute a scientific basis for the future restoration and preservation of these tombs and mausoleums.
- The research findings of this thesis also serve as reliable scientific documentation for promoting and publicizing the architectural, historical, and cultural values of the complex of tombs of the Tran kings in Dong Trieu.

- Research into the tombs and burial sites of the Tran Dynasty aims to clarify their historical and cultural values.
- Restoring the overall architecture of the mausoleum.
