- Highlight artistic innovations by specifically presenting variations in sound, tone, rhyme, and rhythm of the six-eight verse form.
- Present in detail the structures of a six-eight syllable poem, such as narrative structure, lullaby structure, sequential structure, call-and-response structure, etc., and the artistic innovations of these structures in six-eight syllable poems composed in the 20th century compared to six-eight syllable poems from previous periods.
- Analyze some major artistic techniques in 20th-century lục bát poetry, such as reciting verses from the Tale of Kiều, using allusions and historical references, and wordplay... thereby highlighting the achievements in the artistic innovation of lục bát poetry by poets in the 20th century.
- Identify and analyze several artistic techniques such as familialization, grandiosity, lullaby, contrast, and tragic heroism in the construction of three representative lục bát (six-eight syllable) symbols in the 20th century: the symbol of Ho Chi Minh, the symbol of the mother, and the symbol of the soldier.
