- The thesis has summarized the international context, the South Asian regional context, and the context in the United States and Pakistan during the period 1991-2008, thereby identifying the main endogenous and exogenous factors affecting the relationship between the United States and Pakistan during that period.
- The thesis analyzed and clarified the relationships in important areas for both countries, namely politics and security, economics, science, technology, and education. Based on this, it assessed the characteristics and trends of this relationship.
- The thesis has drawn several implications from the study of US-Pakistan relations to serve Vietnam's international relations activities, especially its relations with the US.
- The dissertation has compiled, collected, and systematized a relatively rich and diverse body of materials related to US-Pakistan relations, especially during the period 1991-2008.
11. Practical applications:
Firstly, the US-Pakistan relationship significantly impacts international relations in South Asia, East Asia, and more broadly, the Asia-Pacific region. This relationship also greatly influences relations between major powers involved in this region and Vietnam. Therefore, studying this topic will help to better understand Vietnam's international and regional environment.
Secondly, the US-Pakistan relationship is one between a large country and a medium-sized country. Furthermore, Pakistan simultaneously maintains relations with several major powers, including the US, China, and India. Therefore, this thesis can provide valuable insights and experience for Vietnam's foreign relations.
Third, the thesis can be used as a useful reference for research and teaching on the history of modern US-Pakistan relations and related issues in bilateral relations since the Cold War.

- The thesis has analyzed and clarified relationships in areas which are important to both countries, specifically politics, security, economics, science, technology and education. Thus, the thesis has evaluated characteristics and trends of this relationship.
- The thesis drew a number of implications from the study of US-Pakistan relations in order to facilitate Vietnam's international relations, especially relations with the United States
- The thesis has collected and systematized a relatively rich and diverse source of information related to US - Pakistan relations, especially in the period of 1991 - 2008.
11. Practical applicability, if any:
Firstly, US-Pakistan relationship has a great impact on international relations in South Asia, East Asia and the Asia-Pacific region. Therefore, the study of this relationship will help us to understand more about the international and regional environment of Vietnam.
Secondly, US-Pakistan relationship is a relation between a large country and a medium country, and Pakistan maintains a simultaneous relationship with many major countries such as the United States, China and India. Thus, the thesis may provide references to Vietnam's foreign relations planning.
