- The study period has been extended by 2 months according to Decision No. 3549/QD-XHNV dated December 29, 2017, of the Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

10. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

- The dissertation has summarized the political science approach to human rights in Ho Chi Minh's thought; it has presented the concept of Ho Chi Minh's thought on human rights as a basis for analyzing the content and value of Ho Chi Minh's thought on human rights.

- Systematizing and convincingly analyzing the ideological content of Ho Chi Minh's thought on human rights.

- This analysis and affirmation of the fundamental values ​​of Ho Chi Minh's thought on human rights contributes to guiding the implementation and guarantee of human rights in Vietnam during the period of reform and international integration.

11. Practical applications:

Ho Chi Minh's thought on human rights has contributed to supplementing and developing human thought and culture on human rights; it has been, is, and will always be the ideological foundation and guiding principle for action of the Vietnamese Party and State in formulating policies and laws to protect and implement human rights in Vietnam, making a significant contribution to the achievements in the realization of human rights in Vietnam, especially during the Doi Moi (Renovation) period; it has become an integral part of modern Vietnamese political culture, contributing to ensuring that human rights in Vietnam are protected and implemented more fully and comprehensively. Ho Chi Minh's thought on human rights is truly a proletarian asset that Ho Chi Minh left to the Vietnamese Party, State, and people, a resource and driving force that propels Vietnamese society forward strongly on the path towards the goal of complete human liberation.

Furthermore, this thesis can also be used as a reference for teaching, research, and learning about human rights and Ho Chi Minh's thought on human rights in academies, universities, colleges, and research institutes.

12. Future research directions:

As a system of thought encompassing multiple levels of content and values, Ho Chi Minh's thought on human rights cannot be studied once and be considered complete, nor can it be applied once and be sufficient. Understanding and applying Ho Chi Minh's thought on human rights is a process requiring the participation of many people, with numerous objective and subjective conditions. The research in this dissertation is only a preliminary step, a contribution at the exploratory stage. However, it is clear that the initial research results mentioned above are necessary and, in fact, have opened up new issues that require further in-depth study and analysis.

The study of Ho Chi Minh's thought on human rights has opened up further research directions, specifically:

- Theoretically, it is necessary to continue researching and applying Ho Chi Minh's approach to human rights to identify and interpret human rights issues in Vietnam in a more scientific and comprehensive way, reflecting both universal human rights values ​​and being consistent with Vietnam's specific characteristics;

- In practice, based on the core ideas of Ho Chi Minh regarding human rights, it is necessary to gradually institutionalize and implement human rights in Vietnam more fully, profoundly, and practically. In particular, emphasis should be placed on promoting Ho Chi Minh's culture of human rights within the structure of modern Vietnamese political culture to contribute to ensuring and realizing human rights in Vietnam.

These new research directions are extremely significant scientific tasks that the author of this thesis is aware of and will continue to strive to contribute to in future research.

- The thesis affirms the permanent values ​​of Ho Chi Minh's thought on human rights as a contributive orientation for implementing and protecting human rights in Vietnam in the current time.

11. Practical applicability:

Ho Chi Minh's thought on human rights has contributed to the development humanistic ideologies; and has been theoretical foundation, lodestar for the Communist Party and the State to apply and fulfill human rights in Vietnam. The achievements of human rights in Vietnam have become a constituent part of modern Vietnamese political culture. Ho Chi Minh's ideology of human rights is actually a proletarian asset that Ho Chi Minh left to the Party, State and people of Vietnam; is a resource that motivates Vietnamese society to move towards the goal of liberating people thoroughly.

In addition, the thesis can be used as a teaching material and additional reference resources for research fellows who want to study Ho Chi Minh humanistic ideologies.

12. Further research directions:

As a profound ideological system covering a variety of diversified contents and values ​​on human rights so that it is not enough to study and employ those ideologies in practice just only once. This process requires the participation of many people, with many objective and subjective conditions. Although this thesis is only the first views in the endless studying process, these results are obviously necessary and even suggest some new issues that need to be further explored.

The study of Ho Chi Minh's thought on human rights has opened many new future research directions:

In theory, it is necessary to continue to study and apply Ho Chi Minh's approach to deal with human rights issues in Vietnam based on the humanistic international principles and the particularity of Vietnam context;

In practice, Ho Chi Minh's thought on human rights need to be institutionalized and implemented practically and comprehensively, especially the highly need of promotion of the human rights in modern sociocultural context.

This new approach is a very significant scientific task that the researcher always has the self – awareness and keeps making an effort to fulfill studying process.
