- The thesis contributes to enriching and deepening some basic contents of the ideology of people in pre-Qin Confucianism such as the concept of people, the role and position of people, the responsibility of the king and the feudal state towards the people. On that basis, the thesis clarifies the influence of the ideology of people in pre-Qin Confucianism on the ideology of people in the history of Vietnamese thought from the 11th century to the first half of the 19th century through the viewpoints of some Vietnamese Confucian scholars, kings, and thinkers of this period.

- The thesis affirms the values ​​of the ideology of the people in the history of Vietnamese ideology from the 11th century to the first half of the 19th century and draws the meaning of the lesson of "taking the people as the root" of our Party in the current period. The ideology of the people in the history of Vietnamese ideology leaves behind many values ​​and lessons that today, we need to absorb, inherit and apply creatively in the cause of building and developing the country with the goal of“Rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness, civilization”.
