For Nguyen Binh, poetry and life were one; the lyrical self in his poetry and the poet's self in life were one, often difficult to distinguish. The poet himself was a prime example of the incompleteness and unfinished state of an entire generation and era. In that life, ideals and reality, dreams and reality intertwined, clashed, and tore each other apart. A bitter tragedy of a "bird separated from its flock." A man who loved his homeland immensely, deeply attached to it, yet had to leave it. Partly because of his "wandering spirit." Partly because of the struggle for survival. But essentially, it was to idealize reality, to escape the confinement, narrowness, and lack of direction in real life. All those years of exile were years Nguyen Binh immersed in hardship, poverty, disappointment, and humiliation. And all those years Nguyen Binh longed to return to his homeland, to the warmth of his family, to the sweet memories of his childhood. That yearning was a gnawing, intense longing that lasted throughout the poet's life. A person who dedicated his entire life to loving and yearning for love, yearning for marital happiness, family happiness, but never received it in return. His longing, yearning, waiting, and sleepless nights were only met with unrequited love, loneliness, missed opportunities, separation, and despair. Therefore, Nguyen Binh's poetry speaks frequently of a life of injustice, incompleteness, separation, and humiliation. A person born into a traditional family, who spent his entire life pursuing fame and fortune. The dream of becoming a high-ranking official, a dream deeply ingrained in his subconscious, lingered throughout his life's journey – his poetic journey. But the truth is, that grand dream was born and nurtured "in the wrong era," and therefore also ended in disappointment, shattered dreams, and vanished like smoke. The path to fame and fortune yielded nothing but a wandering life and a few illusory "possessions of poetry." 10.2. Nguyen Binh is one of the poets who made unique discoveries in the art of expression. In his poetry, we encounter forms of folk literature, very familiar and close, but not so simplistic; on the contrary, they are very creative, subtle, and captivating. From the artistic time and space to the symbols in his poems, and especially the art of language use, we see an innate talent, born and nurtured by rural culture, and in fact, he wove pages of poetry rich in national spirit. 10.3. Regardless of the era or circumstances, Nguyen Binh and his poetry remain essential to each of us. Rising above the dust of time, the rural landscapes and sentiments in Nguyen Binh's poetry still appear simple, pure, sacred, and truly lovely. They leave in our souls feelings that are both familiar and sacred, beautiful and sublime! 11. Practical applications: None 12. Future research directions: None 13. Summary of the findings of the thesis: (Summarize them with stress on the new findings, if any) - For Nguyen Binh, poetry and life was just one. His lyrical ego in poetry and poetic ego in life were also the one. They were sometimes hardly to distinguish. And the poet himself was typical for the state of missing, unfinished of a class of people and even an era. During his life, idealism and realism, dream and reality were interwoven, collided, confronted and torn reciprocally. It was a bitter tragedy of a life of an “off – road bird”. This is the man falling in love with the great, passionate attachment to his motherland, but he had to be away from home. It is partly because of “wanderer blood” and “earning-for-living”. But in its nature, this is to idealize reality, to escape from the confined, narrow and lacking - direction life. Years of his exile was the time Nguyen Binh wallowed in the extreme, poverty, despair and embarrassment. That was also the time he craved for coming back his home, with his cozy family and sweet memories of his childhood. The desire was cramped and earnest in all his life. Nguyen Binh is a man who devoted his whole life to love and longing of love, of family happiness but was never offered. The missing, lovesicking, awaiting, and awakening were only responded by unrequited love, loneliness, separation and despair. Thus, Nguyen Binh's poems told more about tragedic, separated and frustrated lives. As Nguyen Binh was born in a traditionally educated family, he had his lifelong pursuit of fame and literary career. His dream of being the mandarin from the subconscious revealed stronger, and more agonized over the whole journey of life and poetry. That dream was indeed born and nurtured in the wrong time, so it was broken and faded. He got nothing in his career but just wanders and some bags of vain poems. - Nguyen Binh is one of the poets who discovered a unique artistic expression. In Nguyen Binh poetry, we can see the forms of folklore, which is familiar and friendly. However, they are not easy – going but very creative, sophisticated, and charming. From the arty time and space to the symbols in his poems, and particularly his art of language use shows us an in-born talent which was born and nourished by the village culture, and in the resulting embroidered poetic pages with strong national spirit. - At any time or under any circumstances, Nguyen Binh himself and his poetry were a real need for each of us. Beyond the dust of time, rural scene and love for his hometown revealed in such a very simple, pure and lovely way. It remains in our heart feelings of closeness, both sacred and noble! 12.
