Summary of the results of the thesis: The reaction of women to their husband's violent behavior is described in steps from expected reaction to actual reaction and long-term reaction. Depending on the strong or weak reaction, the steps of the process can be more or less different, even opposite. Factors leading to strong reactions are progressive awareness, self-esteem, desire for liberation, daring to think and act to realize that desire. Factors influencing weak reactions are shame, wanting to save face, fear, worrying about children, fear of increasing violence and not receiving support and help. The level of reaction to domestic violence of women affects the tendency of violence in the following times. Violence increases the more women try to endure and accept. The likelihood of violence and/or the severity of violence will decrease if women have a strong resistance attitude, seek to solve the problem right from the first time they face violent acts. The cognitive factor is emphasized as a core important factor, having both positive and negative impacts on women's reactions to domestic violence. Positive impacts occur when women correctly understand the concept of domestic violence, correctly identify violent acts, have basic knowledge of the law, and are aware of their own human rights. Negative impacts occur when women do not or do not correctly understand and identify due to their level of education, or do not or do not have awareness of basic human rights. Due to the violent acts of their husbands, women who are victims of violence suffer from combined physical, mental and sexual consequences. These are visible injuries such as scratches, bruises, swelling, broken bones; is a state of poor health, fatigue, suffering, boredom; is a state of fear, shame, humiliation, negative thoughts about men and sexual behavior, etc. 12. Ability to apply in practice: The content of the thesis is a supplementary reference for research funds, information - documents on the issue of domestic violence, a stepping stone for other, more in-depth studies on domestic violence in aspects that have not been mentioned. 13. The factors led to strong reactions of women are aware of progress, respect themselves, they want to freedom, dared to think and dared to realize that desire.
