10. Summary of the thesis results:
In the era of the information technology boom and the widespread use of the internet, digital platforms have been, are, and will continue to develop strongly, becoming an inevitable trend of the times. This reality poses new problems and challenges in exploiting and utilizing sports program content on digital platforms. The question is how to ensure that sports program content on digital platforms can deliver accurate, objective, and truthful news to meet the needs of the public. Solutions need to be implemented from the training stage to the operational organization of VTV's Sports Department, and from the people themselves – the reporters and editors – who need to change and innovate. Importantly, if all these solutions are implemented synchronously and consistently, they will bring certain benefits to the newsroom, reporters, and editors in exploiting and utilizing the potential and attractive information resources on digital platforms.
11. Practical applications:
The content of sports programs on VTV's digital platform is fundamentally characterized by its extreme speed, breadth, and multi-dimensional interactive scope, regardless of time, space, or geographical location. Sports program content on digital platforms needs to assert its value through the quality of information it delivers to the public. This thesis, based on the results of synthesis, analysis, and practical surveys, hopes to contribute to guiding VTV's Sports Department on how to properly utilize digital platforms for reporters, editors, and the Sports Department of VTV in general.
