11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
Using ethnographic sources and Henri Lefebvre's social constructivist theory of space, the thesis "The Social Space of the Korean Community in Hanoi" comprehensively and meticulously outlines the formation, development, livelihood activities, social relationships, and spiritual life of the Korean community in Hanoi from 1992 to 2021. The research results clarify several important characteristics of the Korean community in Hanoi in terms of demographics, living space, livelihoods, social relationships, and spiritual life. The thesis affirms that the Korean community in Hanoi is a product of the policies and constructions of the Korean community itself, and proposes policy solutions for the Hanoi city government and relevant agencies to ensure the sustainable development of the Korean community in Hanoi, contributing to the multicultural character of the capital city.

This dissertation serves as a valuable reference for research and teaching in the social sciences and humanities, especially Anthropology, Korean Studies, Sociology, History, and Cultural Studies, at universities in Vietnam.
The thesis also serves as a useful resource for policymakers to gain a clear understanding of the expatriate community in Hanoi, Vietnam, so that they can adjust policies towards foreigners in Vietnam in general and Koreans in Hanoi in particular.

Using ethnographic materials and the social construction theory of space by Henri Lefebvre, the thesis Social space of the Korean community in Hanoi has outlined relatively comprehensively and elaborately the process of establishment and development, as well as livelihood activities, social relationships, and spiritual life of the Korean community in Hanoi in the period 1992-2021. The research results of the thesis have clarified some important characteristics of the Korean community in Hanoi in terms of demographics, residence space, livelihoods, social relations, and spiritual life. The thesis affirms that the Korean community in Hanoi is a product of the policies and constructions of the Korean community itself, and proposes policy solutions for Hanoi city authorities and other relevant agencies so that the Korean community in Hanoi will continue to develop sustainably, contributing to the feature and multiculturalism of the capital city.

The thesis is a reference source for research and teaching in the humanities and social sciences, especially in Anthropology, Korean Studies, Sociology, History, and Culture at universities in Vietnam.
The thesis is also a useful resource that helps to have a clear understanding of an expat community in Hanoi - Vietnam to conduct policy adjustments for foreigners in Vietnam in general and Koreans in Hanoi in particular.
