Chapter 1: This thesis systematically addresses the fundamental theoretical and legal issues concerning the organization and management of medical records, and delves into an analysis of the role, principles, and procedures of this work. It also summarizes some relevant documents and regulations from the Ministry of Health and current laws regarding the organization and management of medical records.
Chapter 2:The author surveyed and evaluated the current state of medical record management at the Central Endocrinology Hospital and drew the following conclusion:The organization and management of patient medical records have generally received attention from the hospital leadership, but there are still many limitations such as:The annual training on organizing and managing medical records has not been provided; the equipment in the archives is not fully equipped; there is no system of rewards or penalties for errors; and medical records have not been digitized or stored electronically.
Chapter 3:Based on the analysis of the current situation in Chapter 2, this thesis proposes several solutions to improve the organization and management of medical records at the Central Endocrinology Hospital, including: raising awareness of medical record management; investing in equipment for the medical record storage facility; promoting the application of information technology; improving the quality of medical record management; and implementing electronic medical record storage.
11.Practical applications: The research findings of this thesis provide a basis for advising and assisting the Central Endocrine Hospital in improving the quality of patient record archiving and serve as a reference for other hospitals.
