Based on the exploitation of document sources, the thesis has some contributions as follows:
- The thesis conducts selective research on research works related to the thesis topic, including works related to the history of modern Vietnamese historiography and the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam, thereby generalizing the research results and raising the issues that the thesis focuses on solving.
- Systematize in detail and fully quantitative statistics the research works on the movement to establish the Communist Party of Vietnam published in three leading journals of Vietnamese historians, thereby clarifying general research trends and specific research trends. At the same time, the thesis systematizes the historical sources that scholars have used, thereby making some comparisons and comments on these historical sources.
- Synthesize, analyze, and further affirm unified viewpoints and issues, providing a relatively comprehensive, general, and systematic view of the movement to establish the Communist Party of Vietnam in three journals: Historical Research, Party History, and Military History.
- Point out inconsistent historical knowledge, controversial issues, "gaps" or issues that are rarely mentioned in research on the Party founding movement.
- Initially, explain the factors leading to different opinions and assessments on many issues of the Party founding movement.

- The research results of the thesis can be used as reference material in the process of teaching and researching the history of Vietnamese historiography and the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The thesis can also become a useful reference source for researchers, learners and those interested in the process of training and researching Political Theory.

- Go deep into understanding the issues that have not yet been unified in the content of the Party founding movement.
- Continue research on the history of Vietnamese historiography and the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
