Based on the analysis of various sources, this thesis makes the following contributions:
- The dissertation conducts a selective review of research works related to the dissertation topic, including works related to the history of modern and contemporary Vietnamese historiography and the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam. From this, it summarizes the research results and identifies the issues the dissertation focuses on addressing.
- This thesis systematically and comprehensively compiles, in quantitative terms, research works on the movement to establish the Communist Party of Vietnam published in three leading journals of Vietnamese history, thereby clarifying general and specific research trends. At the same time, the thesis systematizes the historical sources used by scholars, and then provides some comparisons and observations on these sources.
- Synthesizing, analyzing, and further affirming unified viewpoints and issues, providing a relatively comprehensive, general, and systematic view of the movement to establish the Communist Party of Vietnam in three journals: Historical Studies, Party History, and Military History.
- Point out inconsistent historical knowledge, controversial issues, "gaps," or issues that are rarely mentioned in research on the movement to establish the Party.
- Initially, we can analyze the factors that led to different interpretations and assessments of various issues in the movement to establish the Party.

- Systematizes detailed quantitative statistics regarding research works on the campaign to establish the Communist Party of Vietnam published in three leading journals (for Vietnamese historians), thereby identifying general research trends and specific research trends. At the same time, the thesis systematizes the historical sources used by other scholars, thereby making some comparisons and comments on them.
- Synthesizes, analyzes, and further affirms the common views and issues, thereby providing a relatively comprehensive, general and systematic look at the campaign to establish the Communist Party of Vietnam published in three journals: History Study, Party History and Military History.
