10. Summary of thesis results:

In the world in general and in Vietnam in particular, the situation of women trafficking is increasing, becoming increasingly complex and global. In recent years, thanks to the efforts of authorities and social organizations, we have freed many trafficked women to return to Vietnam. In addition to the pain of the past, these women are facing many difficulties in life that need the help of the whole society. Especially the issue of reintegration into the community. The Center for Women and Development under the Vietnam Women's Union has built the Peaceful House model since March 2007 in Hanoi to support women and children who have been trafficked from abroad to help them stabilize their psychology, health, and have professional skills to confidently reintegrate into the community. The Peaceful House has typical services such as: Providing safe accommodation; Health care; Medical, legal support, equipment suitable for the trained profession upon repatriation; Psychological, vocational and vocational counseling; Psychological therapy activities; Improving life skills; Support after leaving the Peaceful House. This is a specific model implementing the application of social work methods in assisting victims. But how are these victim assistance activities actually taking place, are they effective, do they meet the right needs, are they suitable to the wishes and actual situation?

The research results have shown the current status of activities carried out at the Peace House shelter through reports as well as from the perspective of the beneficiaries themselves. These activities have helped trafficked women return, giving them the confidence to be able to return and integrate into the community. Beneficiaries of services at the Peace House said that they were quite satisfied with the activities to support them. However, they also wished for further improvements in the quality of services such as psychological and legal support services, and wanted to receive more support.further improve life skills, wish to join the Friendship Club, Financial support for businessand want to improve knowledge in other fields...

This study was conducted at a representative shelter model, not a generalized reflection of the general situation of all shelters for returned trafficked women nationwide. However, from the subjective point of view of the researcher, this is a typical shelter model, operating effectively with good quality, and is a reference address for social activists who wish to assist returned trafficked women.

Realizing that the victims of human trafficking who return need help to reduce stress, fear and anxiety. Because the most important thing in the initial period when they return is that they need to be psychologically stable because only with a good spirit can they do other jobs. The researcher applies Individual Social Work to intervene to reduce psychological crisis in a specific case at "Peaceful House" to clarify the role of Social Work staff in supporting this subject.

11. Practical application:

Based on the research results on activities to support trafficked women returning home, as a social worker, the researcher applied individual social work methods and proposed specific intervention activities to support intervention to reduce psychological crisis for trafficked women returning home.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

Trafficking in women has been accelerated and become much more complicated and worldwide in the world in general and in Vietnam in particular. In the past years, thanks for the effort of agencies and social organizations, many trafficked women have been rescued and returned to Vietnam. Aside from the pain of their past, those women have had to encounter many difficulties in their daily lives and needed help from the whole society, especially the issue of reintegration into community. The Center for Women and Development (CWD) directly subordinated to the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) established Peace House model from March 2007 in Hanoi. The project's purpose is to support trafficked women and children from abroad, to help them to stabilize their psychology, health as well as to provide them with career skills so that they are confident to reintegrate into the community. The comprehensive needs-based support package offered by Peace House Shelter Project includes safe accommodation, medical and psychological care, legal aid, education, entertainment activities, life skills training, vocational training, job placement, and reintegration support. This model applies multiple methods of social work in order to support victims. However, how the victim assistance activities are taking place, they are effective and meet requirements and demands of actual situation or not?

Research result shows actual situation of activities carried out at Peace House Shelter through the reports as well as the perspective of beneficiaries. These activities helped trafficked women a lot by making them confident to reintegrate into the community. Beneficiaries at Peace House Shelter said that they were quite satisfied with the support they received. However, they have desire to improve quality of services such as psychological care and legal aid, to receive more support for improving life skills and knowledge, financial support for starting business; they want to participate in a Club for making more friends, etc.

This study was carried out at a shelter which is not a popular model that can reflect general situation of all shelters for trafficked women in the country. However, in the point of view of the researcher, this is a typical shelter model that works effectively, providing good quality and is an address for referring and learning experiences for social workers who would like to support and help trafficked women.

It is recognized that victims are trafficked women need help to reduce panic, fear and anxiety because the most important thing at the beginning of their return is need of psychological stabilization. Once they have stable mind, they are able to do other works. Researcher applied individual social works to intervention activity for minimizing psychological crisis of a particular case at “Peace House Shelter” in order to point out the role of Social workers in supporting activity for this subject.

12. Practical applicability:

Based on research result of supporting activity for returned women from trafficking in persons, as a social worker, the researcher applied method of individual social work and recommended detailed intervention activities in order to minimize psychological crisis for trafficked women.
