The study has listed the factors that influence the choice of kindergarten for children of parents today, including age, school location, tuition, curriculum, teachers, facilities, nutrition and health, and a few other factors. The study also determined the level of influence of these factors on the decision to choose a kindergarten for their children. Parents all have certain needs and assessments of the influencing factors that the author has given.

The study also showed that there is a correlation between the age factor and the type of preschool, consistent with the initial research hypothesis. The results show that the age of the child that the parents want to send to preschool will determine the type of preschool that is suitable for them. This shows that the younger the child is, the higher the parents' expectations for the preschool in terms of child care, so parents often choose a school with quality and agree to accept the child according to the parents' request.

When analyzing the average values ​​of the factors affecting the choice of kindergarten for their children, it can be seen that the average score that parents give to the criteria ranges from 4.09 points to 4.93 points. Thus, parents all recognize the importance of the factors in choosing a kindergarten for their children. In particular, parents rate the physical facilities as the most important factor (4.93 points), the result is consistent with the initial hypothesis.

The results also show that when parents send their children to preschool, they want their children to study in a good environment and want their children to develop in the best way possible in terms of physical, cognitive, and language skills when sending their children to preschool.
