The delegation talked, encouraged and presented 15 million in cash and gifts to war invalids and meritorious people at Nho Quan War Invalids Nursing Center.
Nho Quan Nursing Center, Ninh Binh, established in 1965, has nursed more than 2,000 seriously wounded soldiers, who have lost over 80% of their health. Currently, the center manages, cares for, rehabilitates and implements policies for 147 people, including 68 seriously wounded soldiers, 24 resistance fighters and children of resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals.
To show gratitude and encourage wounded and sick soldiers - those who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, leaving a part of their body on the battlefield in the resistance wars. Every year, the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities visits and presents gifts to wounded and sick soldiers at the Nursing Centers for Wounded Soldiers and People with Meritorious Services in provinces such as Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Bac Ninh, Thai Binh, and Hanoi. Visiting, presenting gifts and expressing gratitude to wounded and sick soldiers and people with Meritorious Services on the occasion of July 27 is an annual activity of the Trade Union of the University, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" and respecting the generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed their blood and bones to maintain the independence of the nation and the fine traditions of the country.
