Attending the training conference were comrade Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh (Chairwoman of the School's Trade Union), the entire Executive Committee (EC) of the School's Trade Union, the Executive Committees of the Trade Unions of affiliated units, members of the Inspection Committee and professional Committees of the Trade Union.
Vice President of the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities Nguyen Van Thuy delivered the opening speech at the 2023 Trade Union Training Conference
Speaking at the opening of the conference, Chairwoman of the School Trade Union Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh emphasized the significance of the Conference in the School Trade Union's action plan for the 2023-2024 school year. The Trade Union Congress of affiliated units was successfully held, electing a new Executive Committee consisting of comrades who have had experience in trade union activities for many years, but many comrades also participated for the first time. Therefore, the training conference will be an opportunity for comrades in the Executive Committee to exchange experiences and solutions to contribute to improving the professional skills of organizing activities for trade union officials.

At the same time, this is also an opportunity for union officials from all affiliated units to exchange and share to better understand and sympathize with each other, strengthen solidarity, unity, and coordinate more closely and effectively in organizing common activities.".
Instead of individual presentations, the Organizing Committee organized group activities to gather and mobilize the participation of all members attending the Conference. With the topic: "The most necessary skills to plan and organize union activities", team members discussed enthusiastically and gave many creative, unique and feasible ideas. Based on theory, the teams practiced implementing plans for a specific event.
The conference space is designed to be very friendly and open so that participating officials can interact and exchange in the most exciting way.
The groups worked very hard to come up with interesting answers to the topics given by the Organizing Committee.

Although I am a union official with experience participating in the Executive Committee of the union of the unit, today's training session organized by the School Union brought me many surprises. Many skills are very familiar, have been applied for a long time but I have not really understood deeply and applied flexibly. In particular, union work requires a high level of sensitivity and creativity, so through exchanges and sharing sessions like this, we have learned many valuable experiences in organizing practical and meaningful activities for union members. To have meaningful activities like this, we thank the School Board of Directors for always supporting and creating favorable conditions, and thank the School Union Executive Committee for being extremely dedicated, creative and devoted to the common movement.".
Within the framework of the Conference, the Executive Board of the University Union also commended 03 initiatives and ideas from the Unions of the Faculty of Anthropology, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language. In the coming time, the University Union hopes to receive many unique, creative and meaningful ideas, contributing to strengthening solidarity, improving the material and spiritual life of union members, contributing to the successful implementation of the tasks of the 2023-2024 school year of the union organization in particular, and of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in general.
Also within the framework of the series of activities to summarize the 2022-2023 school year, to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19), National Day (September 2) and the 54th anniversary of the death of President Ho Chi Minh, the School's Trade Union organized a visit to the source, to offer incense and visit the relic site of Sen Village, Uncle Ho's hometown in Nam Dan district, Nghe An province. Through this very meaningful visit, each trade union officer of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has a deeper understanding of the contributions and greatness of the outstanding leader of the nation, especially the care and concern that Uncle Ho had for the activities of the Trade Union. That urges the trade union officers, each lecturer and civil servant of the School to promote a sense of responsibility, enthusiasm and creativity so that the Trade Union organization can successfully fulfill its mission of protecting legitimate rights and interests and caring for and improving the material and spiritual life of union members.
