University of Social Sciences and Humanities successfully organized the 2024 VNU High School Olympic Exam

The Hanoi National University High School Olympiad for Literature and History subjects had the participation of 437 students from 58 high schools nationwide, not only in Hanoi and neighboring provinces, but also in remote areas such as An Giang and Dien Bien.According to Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong, Vice Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities: With the number of registered students nearly doubling over the years, along with the trust of 57 high schools across the country, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has done a good job as the organizing committee to ensure the transparency and prestige of the VNU Olympic Exam for the two subjects of Literature and History. Accordingly, the Vice Principal also directed the staff to always closely follow the organization work, to maintain a serious spirit from the stage of making questions, guiding the units registering for the exam, organizing the exam until marking the exam and announcing the results.   The High School Olympiad organized by Hanoi National University is an opportunity to discover and nurture talented students, while improving the quality of teaching and learning at the high school level. Through this exam, students not only have the opportunity to practice and get familiar with the types of exam questions for gifted students, but also better prepare for the national gifted student exam.
In addition, the contest contributes to promoting cooperation in training between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in particular, Hanoi National University in general with regional high schools and universities nationwide, creating a useful and meaningful academic playground. Students who win prizes in the contest are granted certificates, awards and are given priority in admission to member universities, schools and faculties under Hanoi National University according to current admission regulations and regulations. With the desire to find opportunities for students to demonstrate their bravery and spirit of continuous learning, the High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities, under the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, sent 110 students from the Literature, History, Geography and English teams to participate in the Olympic exam organized by VNU.
