Expanding student exchange opportunities and credit recognition between VNU-USSH and Beijing Normal University

On behalf of the Literature Academy of Beijing Normal University (China), there were Prof. Zhou Yun Lei - Secretary of the Party Committee of the Literature Academy; Prof. Nie Da Xin - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Prof. Shen Qing Li - Director of the Center for Modern Literature Research; Ms. To Nguyet - Vietnamese graduate student at the Literature Academy.
On behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, there were Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Party Secretary, Principal of the school, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Hien - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Literature, Director of the Center for Chinese Studies; representatives of the Department of Cooperation and Development, the Department of Training, and the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

At the meeting, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has had a good cooperative relationship with Chinese universities and academies, in which the cooperation with Beijing Normal University is expected to achieve many results in the coming time, especially creating opportunities for students from the two schools to exchange studies and have their training credits recognized between the two schools.
According to Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, the development trend of Vietnam's higher education has changed a lot. Instead of studying abroad, many Vietnamese students prioritize studying domestic training programs with international exchange activities. Therefore, cooperation in training and credit recognition between the two universities will attract the attention of students. In addition, in addition to cooperation in research and training in the field of literature, VNU-USSH wishes to expand exchanges with BNU in the fields of social sciences and humanities such as history, culture, etc.
The cooperation also aims at exchanging lecturers in training, research and publishing.
Previously, there were many meetings and information exchanges between the two universities. The visit and work of the delegation from Beijing Normal University at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will concretize the cooperation between the two sides in the coming time.

Prof. Zhou Yun Lei - Party Secretary of the Institute of Literature, Beijing Normal University (China) emphasized that China attaches importance to international exchange and training cooperation activities, in which the exchange with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is expected to bring many results.
Sharing the same view with VNU-USSH, representatives of Beijing Normal University wish to increase sending students to study at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thu Hien - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Literature, Director of the Center for Chinese Studies discussed the possibility of specific cooperation in training in Literature between the two schools. Dr. Pham Hoang Hung - Head of Cooperation and Development Department discussed the coordination of implementing cooperation procedures between the two universities.  

The working session is expected to bring many good results in the cooperative relationship between VNU-USSH and BNU.
