Attending the 3rd Graduation Ceremony of 2023 were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong - Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, leaders of departments and training units, and especially the full presence of 154 new graduates and a large number of their relatives and friends who came to celebrate with them.
Your bachelor's degrees today are the sweet reward after a long journey of hard work and effort.
In her opening remarks, Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong – Vice Rector of the University – warmly congratulated all graduating students on receiving their Bachelor's degrees, marking a challenging but also very interesting and memorable academic journey. She expressed her hope that the students could be proud of this achievement, as they now possess a Bachelor's degree from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – a leading university in training and research in the field of social sciences and humanities nationwide – and confidently step into the wide-open world ahead.
With credit-based training, opportunities are wide open for students pursuing a second major. The university always creates favorable conditions for students to quickly complete their studies. At today's graduation ceremony, some students graduated ahead of schedule, and many are pursuing two university degrees simultaneously, increasing their chances to pursue multiple fields they love and find good jobs.
Vice Principal Dang Thi Thu Huong shared emotionally:
Four years ago, when these students entered school, the Covid-19 pandemic broke out and unfolded in an unpredictable manner, presenting countless difficulties and challenges. However, with their own tireless efforts, the love and care of their families, and the dedicated teaching and guidance of their teachers, they successfully reached their goal.".
On behalf of the school's Board of Directors, Vice Principal Dang Thi Thu Huong expressed her deepest gratitude to all parents and relatives who have entrusted their children to the school, and who have consistently shown love and care for the children over the past four years, always supporting all school activities. Many parents even traveled hundreds of kilometers to Hanoi today to witness this momentous occasion for their children.
To acknowledge and encourage the efforts and successes of the students, the School's Board of Directors awarded certificates of merit to 4 graduates with excellent academic results and 58 students with good academic results.
Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong presented Certificates of Merit to two new graduates, representing the students who received awards from the university.
We have complete confidence in sending our children to study at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
These were the heartfelt words of Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, the parent of Nguyen Kim Minh Chau, as she represented the families of the graduating students at the ceremony.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc shared this at the VNU-USSH Bachelor's Degree Award Ceremony.
"Four years ago, when my child decided to choose the University of Social Sciences and Humanities as their first choice and was determined to pass the entrance exam, we were very supportive and completely confident. Through our research, we learned that this is a university with a long tradition and a prestigious, humane, yet dynamic and modern learning environment. And after four years of study, we have witnessed the dedicated care and teaching of the teachers, and the support of the University. Therefore, my child has achieved results beyond our expectations. To achieve this success, we are extremely grateful to the University's leadership and teachers who have taught, supported, and helped our child throughout their studies. We believe that with the knowledge, ethics, and especially the profound humanistic spirit that the University has instilled, our children will have a solid foundation to achieve many successes and become useful citizens for society," emphasized Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc.
