After 10 years of operation, Zensho Company decided to end its sponsorship of the program as well as the Zensho Office. During its operation, the Zensho program has achieved many results in investing in equipment and materials for research and study, organizing teaching activities, academic research, short-term practical courses, and receiving international students to study at the University of Tokyo.

In a conversation with Ms. Kanda Makiko, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his sincere thanks for the contributions of the Zensho Office and Ms. Kanda Makiko personally to the development of the Japanese Studies Department and the Faculty of Oriental Studies. At the same time, the University hopes to cooperate with Kanda Makiko in other activities such as teaching, research, and publishing. In response, Ms. Kanda Makiko expressed her honor and appreciation for the goodwill of the USSH's cooperation with the Zensho Office in recent years. Although the Zensho Office is about to cease operations, the University of Tokyo will continue to support the Japanese Department in promoting Japanese studies in Vietnam.
