Attending the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities), Dr. Dao Minh Quang (Chairman of the Dao Minh Quang Fund), Mr. Nguyen Manh Thang (Assistant to the Chairman of the Dao Minh Quang Fund in Hanoi) and representatives of the Department of Politics and Student Affairs.
Based on the learning and training results of the 2020-2021 school year, Dao Minh Quang Fund awarded scholarships to 22 students with Excellent academic results, 10 students who are Class - Youth Union - Association officials with Excellent/Good academic results, 5 students with difficult circumstances with Excellent/Good academic results of the QH-2017-X, QH-2018-X, QH-2019-X regular course, school year 2019 - 2020, each scholarship worth 5 million VND.

At the Scholarship Award Ceremony, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan shared that the Dao Minh Quang Fund has become a familiar name to students and has contributed greatly to the University's scholarship fund. In the context of the negative impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Fund's support has become even more meaningful. In addition, the University's staff and students have also learned a lot from the knowledge, experience and personality of Dr. Dao Minh Quang. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his gratitude to Dr. Dao Minh Quang and hoped that the Fund would continue to accompany and create favorable conditions for teachers and students of the University in the cause of educational development.

Dr. Dao Minh Quang shared about the mission of the Dao Minh Quang Foundation in promoting the education cause of his hometown. The Fund's sponsorship and consulting activities aim to encourage the learning and teaching spirit of students and lecturers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. He hopes that the Dao Minh Quang scholarship will help students foster a love of learning, overcome difficulties and excel in their studies and life. Dao Minh Quang Foundation was established under the German Civil Code, has independent legal capacity, and pursues public interest and charitable goals. In December 2016, Dao Minh Quang Foundation was officially recognized by the Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection of the State of Berlin as having independent legal capacity and was recognized by the Berlin State Department of Finance as a public interest foundation for carrying out charitable activities. The Foundation promotes development cooperation between Germany and Vietnam. The Foundation's operational goal is to promote development cooperation between the founder's two homelands, Vietnam and Germany, especially in the fields of education, sustainable agricultural development, music and culture.
